NJ Natural Gas wants to enter Shadow Lake Village (SLV) and put gas lines under the streets. People
who wish to have gas service in their condo can get [a gas meter] attached to the pipeline [and have]] gas installed
in their unit. It will not be compulsory.

Presently all of the approximately 950 units have only electricity. The units were advertised as “ALL ELECTRIC”
at the time of construction and were seen as a radical, improved and appealing concept. Many prior buildings
at the time had coal which heated water which was sent through radiators. SLV had baseboard heaters for warmth.

Apparently SLV has a blanket easement permitting the gas company to enter and provide service.
