Citizens' Climate Lobby has learned that your Congressional Rep. Chris Smith is very close to agreeing to be a co-sponsor of the new bill, the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act  (H.R.7173) - a bill that closely fits CCL's strongly preferred policy. We have been told by the District NJ04 office that they need to hear from constituents before they will commit as co-sponsors. Therefore, we are asking constituents of Rep. Smith to phone his office by this Friday and ask him to co-sponsor this excellent bill.

There are three other Republican Representatives across the country who are also in the same position, and constituents in those districts will be making calls to their representative. So this is a special action for you as a constituent of Congressman Smith!
